Vichy
Mineral 89 Skin Fortifying Daily Booster
They say: A skin-boosting formula containing a concentration of 89-per-cent Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water. The clear elixir works to reinforce skin’s natural-barrier function, hydrate, strengthen and protect from “aggressors” such as stress, fatigue and pollution.
We say: This product has a texture that is part serum, part gel. The formula goes on cool to the touch and absorbs quickly. Our tester put this product to use after a beach (read: sun-soaked) weekend and was impressed with how it seemed to “plump” up her skin.

Blonde Life Brightening Veil
They say: The sulphate-free Blonde Life products are formulated to battle brassiness, brittleness and breakage. Protects from UVA/UVB rays and thermal styling. Leaves hair soft to the touch.
We say: Our tester is not a natural blond and has naturally curly (a.k.a. dry) hair, so going blond means dry, dry, dry.
The Blonde Life Brightening Veil is supposed to keep your bottle-blond locks bright, hydrated, tangle- and frizz-free. After a week of applying the product as suggested (damp hair, comb through) our tester says it does detangle (less breakage, yeah!), but isn’t the greatest at fighting the frizz. It does, however, feel softer — go figure. As for brightness, our tester has been using the full Joico Blonde Life product line and says her summer blond is still sharp three weeks after getting it done. Oh, and the light fruity scent (nice touch of lemon) is just right for the warmer temperatures.

For Beloved Girl
Cloud-Silk Masks
They say: A collection of face masks from the brand For Beloved Girl (the little sister brand of For Beloved One) that target various concerns, including the: Brightening Mineral, Puff Elimination, Tea Tree Oil Control and Active Resilience Youth.
We say: Our tester is a big fan of face masks, finding they’re one of the easiest and quickest ways to boost your skin while at home or on holiday. These value-priced iterations left our tester’s skin feeling smooth and hydrated, with the Tea Tree Oil Control mask being a particular favourite for our tester’s acne-prone skin.
